Tax Collector

(One Year Contract)

The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley is looking for an experienced property tax collector who would report directly to the Director of Finance.  The Tax Collector will be responsible for the management of the property tax system including the calculation of tax rates, collection and preparation of year-end financial reports.

The ideal candidate will be a post-secondary school graduate with an accounting focus and AMTCO certification in the Municipal Tax Administration Program. At least three years of experience in municipal tax collections would be beneficial.  Knowledge of public sector accounting and with the ASYST tax system would also be considered an asset.

Park Assistant Manager

The Park Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Park Manager as needed to ensure effective operation of the Park during the operating season.  The Park Assistant Manager is responsible for security, public relations, park policy enforcement, drafting and filing of reports, working with local police, fire and ambulator services if/as required, and related duties.  Additional responsibilities include building and grounds maintenance, general construction and operation of equipment as required.

Park Office Attendant

The Park Office Attendant is responsible for general park administrative tasks as assigned by the Park Manager.  Duties will also include public relations, creating and/or updating Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point documents, financial transactions and preparation of financial reports.  Additional responsibilities may include other park related activities, such as building and ground maintenance and operation of respective equipment.
